Hey everybody! I am so happy to be blogging this wedding for so many different reasons!
When I first chatted on the phone with Cindy I knew she was going to be the easiest bride in the world. She told me they were having a small ceremony and dinner with only family and didn’t have too many requests or worries about the day. When I arrived at La Caille, Cindy walked in and was the chillest bride I had ever met, not to mention she was obviously stunning! Soon after I fell in love with the bride, groom and both families, the ceremony began. Nothing could replace the sweet look on Marks face as he first watched his cute daughter throw flowers down the isle, and his beautiful bride descending the stairs in her wedding dress. The day started out on a fabulous note and only got better from there.
Thanks to the minimal amount of guests, we were able to go out and about with virtually no timeline and take photos of Cindy and Mark. As soon as I put the camera in front of these two they BLEW ME AWAY with how photogenic they were! immediately I knew we had a good thing going on. So we walked around La Caille, laughed, chatted, and shot some photos and then headed in for dinner and cake.
I would have to say that my biggest complaint with weddings these days is the lack of authenticity in the photos. Often times so much time is spent adding things to weddings just for the sake of a good photo, and the moments are being lost in the day. Too many times people will fake aspects just to get a photo of something that didn’t really happen. I did NOT feel that way with Cindy and Marks wedding. From the little Japanese doll letters from when Cindy lived in Japan, to the compiled videos of loved ones sending love and support as a gift from Cindy’s brother, there were so many authentic moments that can not replaced by fake moments.
By the end of the evening Cindy’s mom was feeding me cake and taking selfies with me! I absolutely loved every moment spent with these awesome people! Thanks Cindy and Mark and congratulations, beautiful people!
